Good Friday to you Steelers fans.
Monday Night Football sucks. Yup, I said that. And no it isn’t because I’m “get off my lawn” guy wishing it was as awesome as it used to be. It sucks because we Steelers’ fans have to wait ALL WEEKEND for our team to play. We had a game last night and there will be games on Sunday and then on Sunday night and then we have to wait all day Monday. First world problems right? I can only live in the moment these days and at this moment I’m ready for some Pittsburgh Steelers football!! Yet it’s going to be a longgggggg weekend.
The Podcast

Injury Concerns
As of right now only David DeCastro and Dionate Johnson are on the injury report and from everything we’ve been hearing Johnson’s injury is not thought to be serious. I believe he’ll play. DDC is another story. His knee has not been right since the beginning of Training Camp and we wouldn’t be shocked at all to see him go on Injured Reserve for a brief period of time. We definitely believe he’s out for Monday’s game.
Injury Impacts
If DDC doesn’t go then veteran Stefen Wisniewski will get the call. There are far worse options here. Wisniewski is a veteran who has has multiple Super Bowl starts and rings under his belt. Is he as good as DeCastro? No, but he should be more than adequate. Just as importantly, he should also provide some stability for Zach Banner who gets his first career start right next to him on the offensive line.
Rust
I really want to be wrong here. I want Ben Roethlisberger to look sharp, throw for 200+ yards and three scores and walk off a winner but the realist in me also knows Big Ben hasn’t always started well. Now you throw in the long layoff due to his elbow surgery and yeah, I’m concerned.
