Good Monday to you Steelers fans.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will open the 2020 NFL season less than one month from now. I do realize there are very serious things going on in our country but you’re not here for that. You’re here for me to say what you’re already thinking. I have never needed the Steelers to get back on the football field more than I do now. I (we perhaps) need something good and positive right now. I recognize that there are still a few weeks to go and those may be weeks filled with positive Covid tests and rumors of more. But it feels like if the Steelers and every other team can get this far with almost zero cases then why can’t we get to opening weekend? I understand that once that first week arrives and is played that all bets are off. Teams will be flying around the country increasing their risks of contracting this frustrating virus. I need to set all that aside right now because I want to focus on the positive. We are getting closer to our Steelers playing and I’ve never anticipated a season more than this one.
Don’t forget Steelers Nation that Steelers.com will be giving you the opportunity to watch some live football action from Training Camp starting today. You’re damn right I’ll be watching.

The Good News-Bad News with JuJu
Most of you already know this but JuJu Smith-Schuster is entering the final year of his contract. If he performs like he did last year, there’s a chance he could re-sign in Pittsburgh for much less than thought. But then again, why would they want him? If however he performs well? Then the Steelers aren’t likely to be able to afford him. I hope all of us do realize there is a very strong possibility that JuJu is playing his final season in the Burgh.
Small Player Big Play – WPIAL
You may have seen that our WPIAL coverage is now underway. Things are still quite tenuous with the state of high school sports in PA right now but we are pressing forward under the assumption they are at least going to start the season. We are thrilled this year to be sponsored by an incredible app that any fan should have. It’s called “Small Player Big Play” and if you can’t always make it to games, this is a great way to still watch it. The app allows a person with a phone or iPad to livestream the game. If you can’t make it, then you also get the app and you can watch it on your own personal electronic device. The great thing here is that this isn’t just for football. It works with anything from volleyball to youth sports. Check it out in the App Store or Google Play.
Have a great day Steeler Nation!
