It’s Wednesday right? Sometimes I just don’t know…
Brandon Boykin continues to be the story that will not die. If you read us regularly then you know we were major advocates of him getting more playing time as the season wore on and to this day we still don’t understand what the issue was. Last week at the Men’s Fantasy Camp, Carnell Lake revealed a possible reason for his inability to find a team so far this offseason. Ben and I wrote are thoughts on Lake’s comments yesterday. This is what I can tell you without revealing sources; there are two very different sides to the Boykin story. There is Lake’s version and there is a version from Boykin’s camp. I have to leave it at that.
One of the ‘must-see’ position battles of Steelers’ training camp will be between Shaun Suisham and Chris Boswell for the kicking duties. We learned yesterday that Suisham still isn’t quite 100% ready to go but will be at camp. Any way you slice it…. Advantage Boswell.
I’m really excited to tell you about an opportunity I have coming in a couple of weeks. I’ve been invited to be part of the media at Ben Roethlisberger’s Youth Football Camp. Whether I get the opportunity to ask Big Ben a question or not is up to him or the PR crew I guess but I’m grateful for the opportunity. Because I’ll be close to the Burgh, I’m making this a “networking weekend.” I’ve been on Trib-Live Radio each week during the season for the last few years and on Friday June 17th at 1pm I’ll be on with Josh Taylor live in the studio. Needless to say I’m really excited about this. If you are going to be at the camp let me know!
Tweet of the Day… As noted by our friends at Behind the Steel Curtain, Villanueva is a GIANT!

Steelers’ Beat Writer Mark Kaboly became a bit of a hockey writer yesterday confirming that Senquez Golson has a “lower body injury.” As you know in the NHL, specific injury details are not discussed.
Please Steelers, bring back the #BlockNumerals.
A good and timely article on Vince Williams and his “Tweets” from Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette.
Have a great day Steeler Nation!
