Well, you’ve reached Friday eve Steelers’ fans. That’s about all I’ve got.
You may have seen the Twitter smacking between the Steelers’ DeAngelo Williams and the Bengals’ Vontaze Burfict yesterday and while entertaining it serves no purpose. In fact, all it does it get your already asinine fans whipped up into a more ridiculous frenzy which in turn creates problems at games and on social media. Ya, it was funny but it did more harm than good once fans got involved.
If there is one guy that is creating all kinds of draft buzz around the Steelers of late its Florida safety Keanu Neal. There’s lots to like about the kid – he’s big, physical and can play strong or free safety – but I just don’t view him as a first round selection. The problem of course is that he probably won”t be available in the second round by the time the Steelers’ are up but that shouldn’t force their hand in round one. My reasoning is that there will likely be better options either on the defensive line or at corner when the Steelers go on the clock.

While it certainly isn’t surprising, it appears playoff expansion is inevitable. I don’t have to tell you it’s all about money do I?
Besides the aforementioned Neal, Boise State safety Darian Thompson was in for a visit as were Temple cornerback Tavon Young and UCLA offensive tackle Caleb Beneroch. I would expect both of these latter two to be final day selections.
