The first round of the WPIAL Playoffs is in the books. There were 29 games that took place on Friday night. Some historic results included Laurel Highlands and Armstrong getting their first playoff victories in school history while Leechburg and Fox Chapel won their first playoff games since 1978 and 1997 respectively. In this week’s edition of the WPIAL Blitz Show we run through all of the opening round results and preview all of this weekend’s Quarterfinal matchups.
