WPIAL 2021 Week 4 Results

by Ian

Here’s a rundown of the results of the Week 4 Games around the WPIAL. Twenty teams entered this week with an unblemished record. The only four to lose were teams that faced other undefeated squads. This is the last week of non-conference play for conferences with only six teams, so next week everyone will be fully into conference play. Check out our WPIAL Standings Page for a full listing of where teams stand at the end of the weekend.

Class 6A Results

Central Catholic 24, North Allegheny 7 – Ganon Carothers ran for 164 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Vikings to victory. With the exception of one long Kolin Dinkins touchdown run, Central’s defense absolutely stifled North Allegheny’s offense.

Mt. Lebanon 48, Hempfield 14 – Mt. Lebanon is off to a 5-0 start but now gets the cream of the 6A crop with back-to-back games against North Allegheny and Central Catholic who were last year’s WPIAL finalists. The Seneca Valley-Norwin game was cancelled due to COVID cases at Norwin. Seneca Valley will receive a forfeit victory in the standings.
