The Steelers hit the field for practice today at 255pm. Here’s your steelers.com official training camp guide.
-I’m joining Daniel Dudley today on Trib-Live Radio at 330pmET. Here’s the link if you like great Steelers’ talk and a voice like Grizzly Adams.
-Rookie Free Agent LB Howard Jones collected two fumbles, including the one he took back for a touchdown on Saturday night. Pretty good for a guy fighting for a roster spot.
-As up and down as Brad Wing was against the Giants, Alan Robinson and Mark Kaboly of the Tribune-Review reported Monday was very similar. He had a couple of 60-yarders but also shanked a few too.
-Mike Tomlin said after practice that he expects to start seeing separation between the ones and the twos after this week’s practices and games with the Buffalo Bills. That’s good because the cut to 75 players is two weeks away.
-Here’s our first 53-man roster projection. Yes, there are a few surprises, but this will change weekly.
-With Buffalo coming in tomorrow, here’s a few things I’m looking for: How will the Steelers’ secondary handle the speed of the Bills’ receivers? Can the Steelers find success running the ball against the Bills’ 4-3? How ‘fast’ will the Steelers be on both offense and defense?
-Here’s the Tribune-Review’s Ralph Paulk’s article on ‘Big Dan’ McCullers.
-Video for today… Robin Williams’ first appearance on Johnny Carson.
