SCB Steelers Quick Hitters: The “Two Face” Edition

Good Tuesday to you Steelers’ Fans.

You can tell from the title where I’m starting today and while I’m not pleased about it I can’t let it go. Ben Roethlisberger is not, never was and never will be a perfect person, player or teammate. That said, compared to the way Antonio Brown acts he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. Big Ben spoke to KDKA’s Bob Pompeani last night and for the first time addressed what happened this offseason. I thought he was honest and truly regretful for his comments following the loss in Denver that unfairly placed blame on Brown. Rather than accept this apology AB took to Twitter with two words, “Two Face.” Brown’s immature and petulant behavior are now the problem of the Oakland Raiders and I cant wait to watch him implode there. I’m sorry to wish that on anyone but his act has worn me down to this point. Not only did he tweet that but then he followed it with another message and his standard #CallGod hashtag at the end. So this is the message we want to send to people? I wonder if Brown uses that phrase to make himself feel better about his own behavior. Big Ben is no perfect human but at least he’s learned to act like an adult.

With the Steelers beginning Phase Three of OTAs today, here’s a preview of what I’m looking forward to seeing.

There were a lot of fans upset yesterday by the fact that Terrell Edmunds “liked” the ‘Two Face’ tweet from Antonio Brown. It may very well have been a mistake or perhaps it wasn’t and Edmunds would later walk it back a bit but I know this much… It isn’t a good look if you’re liking a comment from a guy who walked out on your team. It isn’t a good look either when the comment is directed at your QB. May be small potatoes to many but in this day of social media, it’s going to be an issue. Perception is a pretty big deal these days.
