Good Friday to you Steelers fans.
There are few things to get us excited these days considering all that we are dealing with in the current pandemic. Every little tidbit we can get from our Pittsburgh Steelers is cherished like a gift on Christmas. There is however some really, really great news. The Steelers have announced that on August 17th they will show segments of training camp live. Yes, you can actually tune into Steelers.com or use the app and watch your Black and Gold in action during camp. Am I excited about this? Hell yes I am! In fact I’ve already done a touchdown dance. OK, that’s a stretch but I can’t wait for this. Not being able to see the Steelers in Latrobe or on TV for preseason has sucked. This offers us a great opportunity to get a glimpse of the team that we probably didn’t think we would have. Kudos to the Steelers for giving us this opportunity.

Summer of Bos
Remember a year ago at this time? Most of Steelers Nation was as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs when the name “Chris Boswell” was mentioned. The former Pro Bowl kicker was coming off of a brutal 2018 season that was hampered by injury and a lot of missed kicks. So unsure were the Steelers that they had competition for him brought in last summer. A year later, Boswell has no such competition and why would he need it? 29/31 on his field goals and a perfect 28/28 on his PATs? I’d say Bos is living his best life once again.
Sneaky (Ex) Seahawk
Did you see the story of Kemah Siverand? He’s the undrafted rookie from Oklahoma State who was cut this week by the Seattle Seahawks. Why you may ask? Siverand, who was a long shot to make the roster anyway, was caught on camera trying to sneak a woman into the team’s hotel. She was decked out in full Seahawks’ gear in an effort to try and conceal who she was. I have to give the young man credit for creativity but in this current environment? Not a smart move.
