Hello Steelers’ Fans! We’ve reached Friday and this is no ordinary one because next week is a short week for many of us including the Steelers who play Thanksgiving evening in Indianapolis.
Here’s the latest on the injury front… Bud Dupree looks like he will play on Sunday in Cleveland. He got reps with the first team yesterday and the report is that he was moving well. Ladarius Green was a full participant after being limited the day before. Darrius Heyward-Bey is still out as are Shamarko Thomas, Markus Wheaton and DeAngelo Williams.
The Steelers have yet to make a move with Cam Heyward yet. That will likely come today or tomorrow. It’s expected he will go to Injured Reserve which will open a roster spot. I’m also told DHB, Shamarko and Wheaton may also be headed for IR as well if they don’t show some progress soon.
This week has been a stark contrast when compared to previous weeks of practice. Several reporters have said the practices have been much more focused and there are more guys around the facility than usual. While that’s encouraging, there’s no way it should have ever come to this for these guys to be acting more professionally.
Tweet of the Day…. A very important announcement from the Steelers
Team President Art Rooney II announces the establishment of The Chuck Noll Foundation.

Right now, the forecast for Cleveland on Sunday is for 38 degrees and steady winds of 30mph. Some precipitation is expected. The Browns have the 31st worst run defense in the league. It’s high time the Steelers’ offensive line imposes its will on someone and gets the running game going. I see no reason for Le’Veon Bell not to have a big day.
There is no question that winning hides a lot warts. Losing however reveals them. Antonio Brown has been at the center of much of this debate for his decision to not make more of an effort on the final play Sunday. I’m not going to apologize for being old school. I thought he could have done more to keep the play alive. I’m not going to crucify him however. He works hard and does many of the right things off the field. I’m not going to lose sleep over this.
Have a great weekend Steeler Nation!
