TGIF Steelers’ Fans! Got those taxes done? Ya, mean either…

As you certainly know by now the 2016 schedule for the season is set for our Steelers. They are the only team to play on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. Here’s my write up on the 2016 slate.

Lots of talk continuing to swirl around the Steelers taking Florida safety Keanu Neal at 25. I think he’s a good-get in the second round. I just am not that impressed as a first rounder.

Congratulations to former Steeler and Hall of Famer Lynn Swann who was named the new Athletic Director of his alma mater, USC. I have no idea as to whether this is a good selection or not but it has to be a dream come true for the former Trojan and I wish him best of luck.

Here are four random mock draft picks for the Steelers at 25 I found on the internet today: A’Shawn Robinson, DL, Alabama… Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson… Jack Conklin, OT, MSU… Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor. An exact science it is not.

Tweet of the Day… Hard to believe he’s already been gone for more than a year now.

Interesting discussion yesterday… If, and this is a Donald Trump-huge ‘IF’ the Rams selected Wentz and then Goff fell to 25 would I take him? While I’ve been adamant about this not being the year to grab Ben’s successor, I admit, I would not hate the decision.

If you follow me on Twitter then you know I’m not a fan of the NFL’s “Color Rush” uniforms. I’m a traditionalist but I also understand the world we live in. It’s thought the Steelers will be in their version of this uniform on Thanksgiving night in Indianapolis. Many are thinking because the uniforms have typically matched the helmets to this point that the Steelers will be in all black. I’m not sure sure because the Colts always wear dark colors at home. Stay tuned.

Have a great weekend Steeler Nation!
