As quickly as the rumors started about Le’Veon Bell allegedly missing or failing a drug test they have departed just as fast. I broke it down later in the evening if missed the action.
Chris told me today that ESPN Insider has Steelers’ LB Lawrence Timmons rated as the second most overpaid player in the league right now. The stats they provided weren’t surprising. Timmons has missed more tackles and given up more receiving yards than most guys in his category. I’ve always had great respect for LT. He’s a model Steeler but he has become a liability especially in passing situations.
I’ve been invited to be part of the media at Ben Roethlisberger’s Youth Football Camp on Sunday. Despite a 5-6 hour drive it’s an opportunity I can’t pass up. More details to come.

Per Mark Kaboly, Bell confirmed he did in fact have tears in both his MCL and PCL. He’s also dropped 10 pounds as well.
The Steelers wrapped up their mandatory three-day mini-camp this morning and as I stated when it started… You have one goal and that’s to stay healthy. Sounds like the Steelers accomplished that with the exception of a lower body injury for Senquez Golson which isn’t thought to be serious.
