It’s something I should do far more often than I do but today is a great day to say thank you. I hope you’ll bear with me here Steelers’ fans…
Thank you to the readers who come to Steel City Blitz everyday. You are the ones who make this little engine run. You comment and whether you agree or disagree with our opinions you always do so respectfully. Well, most of the time anyway but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thank you to the Steelers’ fans who take the risk to click on our “amateurish blog” to see just what we have to say about your favorite team.
Thank you to Body Tech Gym in North Hills. You took a chance on sponsoring a Steelers’ Fan podcast run by a couple of meat-heads and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Thank you to the amazing crew at rabble.tv who approached us back in the summer about actually broadcasting Steelers’ games. Matt and I both weren’t real sure what to expect but after several broadcasts and moving our podcasts over to the site as well, we are grateful and we are excited about the future.
Thank you to Trib-Live Radio. Producer Mike Barker and Steelers’ Black and Gold Pregame Show Host Michael Grau are the epitome of professionalism. They give me the opportunity to spew my take on the Steelers each week and it’s something I always look forward to doing so thank you.
Thank you to Steelers’ PR man Burt Lauten. I don’t communicate much with Burt but in the few instances I have he is always gracious and courteous and it’s appreciated.
Thank you to the many fellow Steelers’ bloggers and writers who we chat with almost everyday. There are way too many to name here because I fear I would forget someone so I’m just giving you all one big blanket thank you. I hope that’s OK.
Lastly, thank you to the crew here at SCB. Each of you impact the site and what we do in different ways. What I’m most proud of is that we are all people with lives and careers. We don’t have the luxury of being dedicated to the Steelers 24/7 despite the fact that we try our hardest. We don’t do deadlines and we don’t have a quota. You write when you want to write and that will always be the case. Thanks for making this go guys.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!
