Steelers Finish 8-8; Wait on Chargers, Chiefs

by Steeldad

The Pittsburgh Steelers took care of business with a 20-7 win over Cleveland today but that was just step one of a four-part process.

Steps two and three were needing Baltimore and Miami to lose and that’s exactly what happened. Now the final step is underway.

The Steelers need the Kansas City Chiefs, who are resting all of their significant starters today, to beat San Diego. Should they do so, the Steelers would enter the playoffs as a sixth seed. A Chiefs’ loss ends the Steelers’ season.

Rookie running back Le’Veon Bell broke Franco Harris’ rookie record for total yards from scrimmage and Antonio Brown had his 16th straight game with at least five receptions and 50 yards.

Check back later for more on the Steelers playoff chances.
