With O-Line Coach Adrian Klemm leaving for the University of Oregon where do the Steelers go for their next OL Coach?

Mike

There’s two answers to this question. There’s what I would do and what I think the Steelers will do. What I would do is go out and find an NFL-experienced, veteran OL Coach who is as much teacher as coach. Unfortunately, I think the Steelers will promote current Assistant OL Coach Chris Morgan. We’ve been told numerous times this season that things haven’t always been smooth between Klemm and Morgan. There are numerous ways to take that but Mike Tomlin likes stability and Morgan seems an obvious choice for the organization.

So how much Iron City Light Mango did you have (and bring home) from your recent trip to Pittsburgh?

Numerous individuals.

I should have known this was coming… From in-person to social media, people were asking about my IC Light Mango in take from last weekend. Look people… I enjoy Mango when it’s warm and sunny outside, not when it’s breezy, overcast and 33 degrees. I can assure all of you I have some here at the house but I must admit, I need to try the Yeungling Light Mango I saw at a beer cave in Pittsburgh.

Watt and Heyward made the Pro Bowl. Who else should have?

Marie

The Pro Bowl is a great thing to be voted into but for most players it’s kind of a “ho-hum” thing as well. Simply because most don’t want to participate in it. Watt and Heyward were clearly deserving but I thought Diontae Johnson, Chris Boswell and Minkah Fitzpatrick deserved the honor as well. Johnson is eighth in the NFL in receptions and tenth in receiving yardage. That’s pretty good for an offense that quite frankly is awful. Boswell loses out simply because his name isn’t Justin Tucker. He may be a Raven but he’ll go down as arguably the best kicker in NFL history. Fitzpatrick had a rough start to the year but his overall value has exploded in recent weeks with the front seven being so bad. I could also make an argument for Ben Roethlisberger. If Lamar Jackson is invited then Big Ben should have been as well. His passing numbers are way better and he’s been just as clutch if not more so than Jackson.

Who is the Steelers’ QB on opening day 2022?

Matt

Wow. This question is blunt!! Right now I think Big Ben will want to come back. That’s going to be a decision the Steelers will have to make. They know Mason Rudolph isn’t the long-term answer and while this QB class isn’t a great one, that doesn’t mean there isn’t one they like. All things being equal I think Rudolph, who is under contract for one more year, will be the starter short of a free agent signing.
