When did the Steelers decline begin?? My answer, At the birth of the young money crew. Tomlin as head coach should have stopped that right in the bud and made it public. ” that is not who we are” after that we struggled to make this team a contender. We eventually did put some really good pieces together. But since EGOS were allowed to flourish on this team now here is where we sit. Mason may do great then he may not but Tomlin did allow the current culture to take over this team. And what it created was #84 the role model for what not to be as an NFL player. OK i said it character means a bunch and hiding it and allowing it to flourish. Will have after effects the best thing the Steelers could do is just start all over, well not quite that far we do have some great guys in place. But this team does need an enema. The coaching staff has done their job but their time has past.
