Good Thursday to you Steelers’ Fans.
Finally. Our Pittsburgh Steelers have returned. They are reporting to St. Vincent College in Latrobe as I type. Some will arrive quietly with little fanfare. Some will carry in 60″ TVs and Lay-Z-Boy recliners. All however are there to finally bring home Lombardi number seven. There are many who doubt that this can happen in 2019. Too much production is gone. They can’t get past the Patriots. There’s too many questions on defense and on and on it goes. But right now we are here to celebrate the beginning of another season. We will dive into all of the on-field stuff as soon as tomorrow so relax and breathe just one more day and enjoy just seeing our players arrive. This is what we have waited for and this is what they’ve worked incredibly hard for so welcome them and then…. Let’s get ready for some football!!!

I have no idea what type of money Mike Daniels is looking for but the newly released Packer had better be getting a call from Kevin Colbert. His presence on the Steelers’ defensive line would be a HUGE boost to the defense. He’s a great player and really good locker room guy as well.
The Players Association has sent each player a ‘Work Stoppage Worksheet.’ This is a sign that they are clearly preparing for the possibility of a lockout. Most seem to believe that the 18-game schedule will be a major negotiating chip. The good news is that both sides are already talking. Let’s hope that continues.
The Jags’ Jalen Ramsey showed up to Training Camp in a Brinks Truck. Nothing shows your teammates you’re committed to winning like being more concerned about yourself.
Here’s hoping we don’t have to deal with THAT today in Latrobe!
