Good Wednesday to you Steelers’ Fans.
I’m excited to announce our Training Camp Position Previews are now rolling out as the Steelers roll into St. Vincent College over the next 24 hours. Most Steelers’ blogs do these previews and that’s understandable. We all tend to do it differently which if I’m a reader, I appreciate. Here at SCB we strive to tell you about the starters and the backups but we also want to introduce you to the new guys as well. Some of you will be heading to Latrobe and I know when I went years before blogging was a thing that having a little background of new guys would have been helpful. The biggest reason I’m excited to announce that the previews are here is that it means FOOTBALL IS HERE. Not sure about you but I’m ready. Here are our first couple of previews on the offensive line and safeties. More coming today.
I’m also really excited about our WPIAL coverage from Ian this fall. There will not be a better place to get your Western PA high school football information!

Can someone explain to me how Adrian Peterson, who has earned over $100 million during his career is essentially bankrupt? How many damn times do we need to see this before these guys wake the hell up? Every new professional athlete should be forced to watch ESPN’s 30 for 30 “Broke.” The bad news is that Peterson will not be the last guy in this position. Not by a long shot.
Both Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt were featured in the NFL’s Top 100. As many of you know I hate these rankings. Like Power Rankings in mid-March they are subjective and are put out there for our clicks. I guess it worked!
I see the Browns report to Camp today. Did the Commissioner fly in to hand them the Lombardi Trophy?
