The Kickoff
Is today the day? Is today the day we finally find out if Aaron Rodgers will grace us with his presence for the 2025 season? After spending nearly six hours at the Pittsburgh Steelers SouthSide facility on Friday, he left without a contract. With a weekend to think about it and very few suitors left, I have to believe that a decision is coming very soon. Then again, this isn’t surprising at all now is it?

Draft Stuff
We are really fortunate to have Cliff and Dom writing for us right now. They are both putting out some great draft content! Hard to believe we are a little over a month away from the Draft. And here’s my first run at a Steelers Mock Draft for 2025 published this morning.
The Way to Do It
I’m not slamming Najee Harris per se here but Elandon Roberts gave a master class in how to move on from a team. Now with the Raiders, Roberts was asked about playing in Pittsburgh and stated that he just hoped he played hard enough to gain fans’ respect. Classy statement right there.
Cam Comments
Steelers’ captain and all-pro Cam Heyward has never really been shy when commenting on things and he hasn’t been lately either. His disdain for Aaron Rodgers taking so long to decide is frustrating for him and he was honest this week when he said he was “bummed” with Justin Fields moving on to New York. Heyward clarified his Rodgers’ remarks by citing the ‘urgency’ the team has right now. Sadly, I think the urgency is more on his end than it is the team’s right now.
Random Reads
If the Steelers do trade George Pickens I think it will be right on the eve of the Draft or during it… No one hates March Madness other than the NBA. They should just take three weeks off during the NCAA tournament… I’ve been watching the first season of Daredevil. I’m not sure that Vincent D’Onofrio ever gets the credit he deserves for being a great actor… Considering there have been no significant signings on the defensive line, I’ll be surprised if the Steelers don’t double up during the draft… In regards to the game-winning shot by the Maryland player yesterday, how many steps does a player get these days…
