Kentucky Defensive Coordinator Raves About New Steeler Dupree

by Steeldad

As any former coach will do about a former player who has been drafted into the NFL, Kentucky Defensive Coordinator D.J. Eliot gushed with pride over Steelers’ first round draft pick Bud Dupree.

Eliot often sounded like a proud papa, but he has reason to when you listen to his comments.

I like all the draft picks but I think the steelers should look at picking up another corner. Maybe some team will cut one at thee end of the last exhibition games. That will really solidify this team.

It’s not a bad idea David. I think they will add a corner prior to camp and if they don’t, they will certainly look for a big CB in next year’s draft.
