What better way to point out the feelings of Steeler Nation on the Joey Porter, Jr trade than to use some posts from ‘X?’ Let’s jump right in.
Josh isn’t wrong. This is a bad look but let’s also be honest here. George Pickens was a cancer that not even Mike Tomlin could control. Broderick Jones – through not all of his own doing – just wasn’t cutting it here. Getting something for both guys was better than getting nothing.
Mike is absolutely on point here. No one looks good in this. No one.
This is brilliant use of a GIF.
Few people know this as well as Scarps does.
So what Nick is saying is that JPJ now finds himself in the exact same spot with Dallas that he was in with the Steelers. I’m biased but I know who I’d rather spend the next four years with at roughly the same price.
The final straw….
In summary, this entire situation was handled poorly and both sides are to blame. Omar Khan as far as I’m concerned is on the hot seat. You cannot miss on this many high draft picks and get so little in return for them. Porter, Jr will no doubt say something in the coming days that will make us glad he’s gone but this should have never gotten this far. Very sad.
