Hey Steelers Fans. Welcome to Thursday.
The Kickoff
Let’s be honest here; if we were Browns’ fans we’d be pissed. On Sunday, they will become the first team to play in London and then play on the road the following week. As Steelers’ fans, we often talk about how it feels like the League is out to get us at times but in this case, the shoe is on the other foot. Another thing to pay attention to as the game nears is the list of trends that are favoring the Steelers. From Mike Tomlin’s record out of the BYE week to the team’s overall success against rookie quarterbacks, there are many different betting trends that will have people (gamblers) all over the Black and Gold this week. So in my case, that means this game worries me even more.
The Inside Blitz is back!
I finally got back on the wagon and brought back our short-form podcast the Inside Blitz last night. These are my 10-minute snippets on the Steelers that also serve as promos for the regular Thursday night Podcast. Enjoy!
Steelers History
Our resident Steelers Historian Gordon takes us back to the late 1970’s. The AFC Central was up for grabs and the Steelers and Browns found themselves in a shootout! Check it out right here.
Secondary Rotation
With Jalen Ramsey out for this one I’m curious to see how Teryl Austin and Mike Tomlin choose to deploy their personnel on the back end. Joey Porter, Jr is expected to return which means Brandin Echols likely moves into the slot role. With Cleveland likely to be ‘run heavy’ we will likely see some three safety sets as well. We should have a better idea once we get through tomorrow.
Draft Stock Report
Cliff has another installment ready! He’s been evaluating a number of potential Steelers’ prospects throughout the college season and as you might imagine, the feedback is all over the place when it comes to quarterbacks.

I’m still sticking with Mike McDaniel – who was my original pick – as the first head coach fired in 2025.
