The WPIAL football season is almost halfway over with 4 games in the books. This was the first week where nearly every conference played conference games. On this week’s show, we interviewed first-year Highlands head coach Matt Bonislawski who has the Golden Rams off to a 4-0 start. Highlands just knocked off North Catholic who came into the game with a WPIAL-leading 25-game conference winning streak. WPIAL Blitz Show Week 3 Player of the Week (Presented by Brute Athletic)
Our Player of the Week from Week 3 was Elizabeth Forward WR Zach Boyd. In a non-conference game against Shady Side Academy, Boyd had 5 catches for 205 yards and scored 4 touchdowns.
