Good Thursday to you Steelers fans.
It’s a Pittsburgh Steelers Gameday! Enjoy it because it’s the last time we can say that for the next 17 days. Be that as it may, there’s a lot going on tonight in Atlanta. Obviously the most important thing is that this team stay healthy. To this point, the Steelers have been relatively healthy through the preseason and keeping it that way is of primary concern. Mike Tomlin says the starters will play, how long we don’t know, but considering that span of days between tonight and the season opener I’m totally on board with it. Of course there are risks, but I think Tomlin knows he needs this young team to stay hot. I posted “what we’re looking for in tonight’s game” yesterday so check that out.
The Streak is Over
You may have seen that the Baltimore Ravens’ 24-game preseason winning streak was snapped by the Washington Commanders Monday night. I have a hard time believing that John Harbaugh didn’t purposely try to win some of these games. If you know anything about the Harbaugh family then it won’t surprise you at all. They would literally run over their own kids to win a game of checkers. Either way, I’m glad we don’t have to hear anymore about that crap.

The San Francisco 49ers traded THREE first round draft picks for Trey Lance. He is now the team’s THIRD string quarterback. Look at that list of players the Niners passed on to get a guy with so little experience. That literally should be cause to fire the entire San Francisco scouting department and maybe even the General Manager. You just can’t miss that bad regardless of competitive the team currently is.
