TGIF right Steelers’ fans??
Good news on the injury front as linebacker Ryan Shazier practiced yesterday albeit in a limited fashion. I fully expect him to play on Sunday as well as Markus Wheaton as well.
I loved the aggressiveness of Mike Tomlin on third and fourth and short Monday night but that approach has a downside too. When those calls don’t go right second guessing begins.
While waiting for his three game suspension to end Le’Veon Bell has announced he has a new track “ready to drop.” You’ll forgive me if I’m not overly excited about this. I’m more interested in his play on the field.
Don’t forget “Nail the Number.” Tweet your picks to @CraigScott31 and @SCBlitz along with the hashtag #nailthenumber. This week’s picks,
1. Exact number of points scored by the Steelers AND
2. Number of receptions by Antonio Brown.
Tweet of the Day… Not sure of a place with more “Badasserey” than this signing will have.
Only about two weeks until my public signing with Greg Lloyd & Jack Lambert on October 1! More… https://t.co/gOxKvLocaB

Nice story here on L.J. Fort from Ray Fittapaldo of the Post-Gazette. Talk about persistence…
The NFL is preparing for things to get chippy this Sunday between the Steelers and Bengals but they have only themselves to blame. Had officials laid down the law earlier in the postseason game, I think the issues later wouldn’t have been as serious. This however, is how the NFL does things. The are reactionary rather than proactionary and that creates significant problems.
Has anyone seen Vontaze Burfict this week?
Just me or is Ryan Fitzpatrick roughest looking 300-yard passer in the NFL? Big night for him in the Jets’ win over Buffalo but man, half the time I don’t know where he’s running or throwing the ball.
I’m calling it right now. Someone on the Steelers’ D has a pick six this weekend.
Have a terrific weekend Steeler Nation!
