The Kickoff
Here’s what we know. The Steelers have looked into Kirk Cousins. They’ve had visits with Carson Beck, Ty Simpson, Drew Allar and Cole Payton. Here’s what we don’t know. Aaron Rodgers remains a mystery in terms of whether he will return or not. What it all means is that the Steelers will once again go into the Spring with significant questions at the most important position in football. Rodgers certainly takes away a bit of the tension should he return but let’s be honest; how much does he really have left? With a month to go until the Draft, the Steelers remain in quarterback limbo.
Dumb
Giants’ Running Back Cam Skattebo made the news last week for some dumb comments on a podcast. He suggested that CTE wasn’t real and that asthma was “an excuse.” Skattebo was never going to be confused with a doctor but these comments are just ridiculous. Go tell the families of Mike Webster or Junior Seau or Dave Duerson that CTE isn’t real. Go tell millions of families that live with the difficulties of asthma everyday that it doesn’t exist either. This is why athletes are often told to stay in their lanes.

Draft Profiles
Cliff and I have been hammering out our 2026 NFL Draft Position Profiles over the last few weeks. We have a few positions left to go but we are almost there! Check them out right here.
With a month to go…
I see no way the Steelers use all 12 of their selections to draft players. I would not be surprised to see them move a couple of those thirds in exchange for picks in next year’s draft as well… My gut feeling is that they won’t draft a QB or WR at pick 21. I can see OL or DL or DB to be honest. This draft feels like a “Let’s improve everywhere else and get the QB next year” type of draft.
Random Reads
The boys of summer are now making their way from Florida and Arizona to their home cities. Here’s hoping the Pirates are in the race until June… Speaking of the Pirates did I see Paul Skenes’ girlfriend Livvy Dunne is in the new installment of ‘Baywatch?’ I guess you have to start somewhere… Does anyone else remember how common it was to ride in the bed of someone’s pickup? I assume that’s illegal in most places now… Another reason to illustrate why I’m old is that I can’t stand people who make “alternate” uniforms for the Steelers. Just stop already… I think Patrick Graham is going to have a lot of fun using Jaquan Brisker. He stops the runs and blitzes exceptionally well for a safety… Big week for Pro Days with Alabama, Notre Dame, Miami and Texas among others.
