When you’ve been podcasting as long as I have there are certain words or phrases that occur organically. Part of that is simply the subject matter. Much like there will always be things associated with Mike Tomlin… “The Standard is the Standard” and “We want Volunteers, Not Hostages” to name a few, the SCB Steelers Podcast has some of these as well.
For years, we wanted our show to be just like that group of people sitting around the bar discussing their Pittsburgh Steelers. We’re knowledgeable and opinionated and once “We’ve Had Some Drinks,” things typically get the most interesting. It was only natural then that we finally put this together based on a phrase that’s been around since the early days. It’s our “We’ve Had Some Drinks” t-shirt!
