Olaivavega Ioane, 6’4″ 320lbs, Penn State
Strengths
-Pass protection guru with stats to prove it
-Tremendous anchor; Does not get bull rushed at all
-Reads things extremely well both before and during the play
-Hands are his calling card; If he locks on you then you’re done
Weaknesses
-Late to the game; did not start football until his 10th grade year.
-Run blocking is lacking but isn’t horrible
-Has largely survived in run blocking through pure power as technique must improve now
-Lateral quickness is an issue and will be for teams that like to pull linemen
Game Videos: vs Highlights at LG, Full Breakdown
Projection: Vega Ioane is a legitimate first round guard that can play either side. With the Steelers needing a left guard he would be an ideal fit but that depends on how much lateral movement they would need from him. He has the smarts to assist line calls and recognition and could likely be a stalwart at the position for a decade. If he’s mostly required to pass block and run block in a phone booth then he’s a potential Pro Bowler and more.
Emmanuel Pregnon, 6’4″ 314lbs, Oregon
Strengths
-Tremendous showing at the Combine where he was at the top or near it throughout the individual skills
-Wide base and powerful anchor; defenders just can’t get around him
-He’s a mauler who plays through the whistle
-Got better at each of his three stops in college
Weaknesses
-Spent time at Wyoming, USC then Oregon. Something to that or just NIL?
-Quicker interior rushers can give him problems
-He can lean forward a bit which leads to the issue above too
-Zero position flexibility from what I’ve seen
Game Videos: vs Minnesota, vs Indiana
Projection: Pregnon will need a team that’s OK with him being a guard only. He will need a system that lets him get his hands on guys and use his power versus any scheme that has him on the move a lot. He’s a possibility with the Steelers but his lack of flexibility is something that will concern them and other teams.
Keylan Rutledge, 6’4″ 315lbs, Georgia Tech
Strengths
-Solid at the point of attack; Doesn’t give ground
-Powerful hands
-Can get a little too fired up at times but coaches love it
-Effective puller
-Has some ability to play center
Weaknesses
-Pass protection needs work
-Can play too high at times
-Balance appears to be an issue in pass protection
Game Videos: Film Breakdown
Projection: Rutledge screams fourth rounder to me. Get him into a situation where a team is heavy run and play-action and that could be his calling card. His struggles in pass protection would concern me if I’m planning to throw the ball a lot. Loves his attitude and temperament.
Billy Schrauth, 6’5″ 310lbs, Notre Dame
Strengths
-Can play left or right guard
-Was a Captain for the Irish
-Excellent communicator pre and post-snap
-Tremendous pass protector
Weaknesses
-Durability! Missed game in both 2024 and 2025 (ankle and MCL Sprain)
-On the lighter side at 305lbs, can he bulk up and remain effective?
-Run blocking is inconsistent
Game Videos: Highlights
Projection: Schrauth is likely headed for the fourth round. If a team feels like he can add weight to improve his run blocking then maybe he goes a tad higher. Can’t argue with the leadership skills at all. Would be a solid depth piece to the Steelers.
Chase Bisontis, 6’5″ 315lbs, Texas A&M
Strengths
-Versatile player with starts at left tackle in his freshman season and left guard in his sophomore and junior years
-Heavy handed
-Excellent core strength and anchors well
-Has the agility to move both left or right
-Has improved his pass blocking in each of his three seasons
Weaknesses
-Shorter arm length is a concern
-Has been flagged almost 20 times through three seasons
-Can play a little too high at times

Projection: Full Breakdown
Beau Stephens, 6’6″ 315lbs, Iowa
Strengths
-Love the attitude!
-Plays with aggression and violence immediately at the snap
-Natural anchor keeps him in solid position
-Very few penalties during his career
Weaknesses
-Injury history is a major concern. Missed time in ’22, ’23 and ’24
-Below average arm length
-Can often get caught leaning way too often
Game Videos: None
Projection: Stephens is likely headed for a late fourth/early fifth round selection. The durability is a giant concern as it should be. He would have to be a reserve to start his career and then go from there. The good news is that he had a standout 2025 so hopefully he can build on it.
Gennings Dunker, 6’5″ 320lbs, Iowa
Strengths
-Former wrestler who wins with powerful leverage
-Violent hands
-Has the “ugly” attitude you want from an offensive lineman
-Four-year starter
Weaknesses
-Played primarily at tackle but his build likely kicks him down to guard
-Needs to get off at the snap a tad quicker
-Balance can be an issue at times mostly due to aggressive attitude
-While his strength numbers are off the charts, his agility scores are average
Game Videos: Season highlights
Projection: Dunker entered the Senior Bowl with tremendous fanfare and he lived up to the billing. While his red mullet got most of the attention, he held his own at guard throughout the week. With a need for a guard, he could be a possibility for the Steelers but I don’t think they’d take him until the third and he may be gone by then.
Other guys to consider: Jaeden Roberts, Alabama… Jalen Farmer, Kentucky…
