5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
The Jags would love for Bosa or Ramsey to fall here as they desperately need help at safety and along the defensive line. Someone like DeForest Buckner could be an option but I think that Jack is the best player available at this juncture, and Paul Posluszny is coming to the end of his career anyway. Jack and Telvin Smith would give the team two very impressive young linebackers that can cover a lot of ground.

6. Baltimore Ravens – DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon

The Ravens needs help on both sides of the ball but the need to dominate in the trenches defensively is too much to pass up as the Ravens snag the 6′ 7″ Buckner. The way Ravens’ Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees uses his front seven, I can see him having ‘mad scientist’ moment with Buckner simply because he may be able line up on either side and in a two-point or put his hand in the dirt. 

7. San Francisco 49ers – Carson Wentz, QB, South Dakota State
I’m not sure where Colin Kaepernick ends up, but to me, if the Niners are already openly shopping him to Denver then I’d say it’s probably the beginning of the end of his time in the Bay Area. I’m not really sure what to make of Chip Kelly in his fresh start. I would’ve though that Kaepernick is exactly the type of QB he’d want for his system, but maybe he values a more traditional signal caller like Wentz here, who still does have plenty of athleticism. They say new coaches means new quarterbacks, so the Niners get theirs here.

8. Philadelphia Eagles – Ezekiel Elliott, RB Ohio State
To say that DeMarco Murray was a mistake is an understatement so the Eagles desperately need a guy can not only run the football between the tackles but also can stretch plays to the sideline before turning up field. The threat of Elliott immediately helps Sam Bradford because teams will need to honor the fact the Eagles may run the ball effectively. Quarterback is an option here but I think Zeke is the pick.
