Good Monday to you Steelers’ fans. I sincerely hope all of you are well and are coping with Covid-19 as well as you can.
Some of our friends close to the Steelers have told us that there is a real possibility that the season could be pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. Like me, many of you are probably reacting with “Come on. That’s still a few months away.” While true we need to do some math here. If we believe the research that says April and May will be worse than March in regards to Covid-19 then that will undoubtedly push back rookie camps, mini-camps and other segments of OTAs. My understanding is this; if Training Camp gets pushed back then we should definitely be prepared for a shortened NFL season. I don’t like it. You don’t like it. None of us like it but as my father used to say “it is what it is.”
Clustering
The NBA is considering an interesting plan to return to action. The Chinese League and the Premier League in the UK are looking into gathering their teams in a couple of cities to play the remainder of their schedules in front of empty facilities. I’m kinda torn on this idea. I love sports as much as anyone but perhaps sometimes the best thing to do is cut your losses and begin anew when things are better. Any way you slice it, the games aren’t going to be the same and many players have already said as much.

It’s truly incredible how important hats have become in many of our lives. I’ve been a ball cap person my entire life and the evolution of the styles and fits has been truly incredible. Our friends at New Era will be unveiling the 2020 Draft Day hat tomorrow. Will they be a hit? I’ll let you decide that!
