SCB Steelers Quick Hitters for November 6th, 2014

by Steeldad

Just remember Steelers’s fans, things could always be worse. The Jets had a plane circling their practice field yesterday. It towed a sign calling for the firing of the general manager.

-Practice today is from 1-3pm Eastern.

-Injury report from Wednesday is a long one… Did Not Practice, Keisel, Mitchell, Miller, Pouncey (Not Injury Related)… Limited participants, Cam Heyward, Ike Taylor… Did Not Practice Due to Injury, Polamalu, Shazier, Ventrone, Thomas, Worilds

-I took a bit of criticism for my article last week about Haley not reverting back to his old ways heading into the Baltimore game. The Pro-Haley crowd took exception even though the Steelers came out in the first quarter with a more conservative approach.

-In case you missed this, Mean Joe got the “Renegade” treatment Sunday night.

-Here are Ben Roethlisberger’s thoughts on facing the Jets.

-Big game tonight in the AFC North as Cleveland plays at Cincinnati. Both teams dealing with some injury issues.

-Le’Veon Bell wasn’t a huge factor on Sunday night especially running the ball but he was a monster when it came to key receptions in the game and in picking up the blitz.

-I’m very curious to see what Rex Ryan does to try and slow down Roethlisberger. With a poor secondary and the fact that Ben is good against the blitz, his options are limited.

The Steelers coach needs to go. He is bad and so is Haley. These coaches were picked by the liberal left wing Rooneys and their Buddy obama lost big? So Rooneys new coaches or sell the team to a Conservative Owner. Steelers are not libs

I appreciate you commenting Duane but what does Obama have to do with the success of this team? Jerry Jones and Daniel Snyder are no doubt conservatives but has that translated to success on the field?
