TGIF Steelers’ Fans!

Your Black and Gold will be in action tonight at Latrobe Memorial Stadium at 7pmET. Get there early!!

The Steelers should know by August 18th what the fate is of running back Le’Veon Bell. At this point, I see no reason to think that Bell’s pending four-game suspension will be lessened. Get ready DWill.

The Steelers’ tight end position is going to be really interesting to watch as camp rolls on. Ladarius Green and Jesse James are locks but after that will depend on the comfort of Mike Tomlin and Todd Haley. Will Johnson is back and we know how Tomlin likes his veterans. Johnson could also be be sued at fullback if necessary. Xavier Grimble however is having a god camp and the Steelers like him. Stay tuned on this battle.

I took a look at Steelers’ rookie Javon Hargrave last night.

Tweet of the Day 1… Friday Night Lights! Tweet of the Day 2… More DWill Birthday hi-jinx!!

We have a kicker war!!!! Broncos’ kicker Brandon McManus told Ravens’ kicker Justin Tucker that if he comes to Denver and makes an 84-yard field goal (as Tucker claims he can make) then McManus will pay for his trip. Ugh, kickers!

Eli Rogers continues to be a name to watch at Steelers’ camp. We really liked him last year and he’s done nothing to make us think differently this year. He is really good in the slot and has return capabilities so he has a legitimate shot to make this roster.

GM Kevin Colbert is a broken record these days. He has said once again that the team has no plans to do anything with Antonio Brown’s contract until next year. This comes as news of Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, having been in contact with Colbert this week.

I think David DeCastro and the Steelers get something done over the next few days. I hear they are very close.

Have a great weekend Steeler Nation!
