Steelers Pre-Season Schedule Will Feature a Primetime Game

by Steeldad

Ben Roethlisberger chose to not practice and is out for SundayThe Pittsburgh Steelers announced their 2013 pre-season schedule today and has been the case in recent years, one of those will be a national television game. Here are the four opponents for the 2013 pre-season;

NY Giants – Home

Washington – Away (MNF on ESPN)

Kansas City – Home

Carolina – Away

The good news for Steelers’ fans is that the week three game is at home and this is the one that typically the starters will play a significant portion of so that’s a welcome sight. Also a great thing for Steelers’ Nation is that the team will play it’s second pre-season game on National television as ESPN will carry the Monday Night affair between the Steelers and Redskins.

Last season, the Steelers defeated the Giants, Redskins and Chiefs but did not play the Panthers.
