Good Thursday to you Steelers’ Fans!

It may be early in the season but it’s never too early to talk Super Bowl odds. Our friends at sportsbettingdime.com are offering up the latest Super Bowl odds with their ‘tracker’ which I’ve linked right here for you. Whether you’re a gambler or not it’s always fascinating to see how these can change one week to the next based on who teams beat and who they lose to as well.

Good stuff last night on the Steel City Blitz Steelers Podcast 95 presented by 26shirts.com/Pittsburgh. From the stiff-arm seen around the world to breaking down the offense and defense we covered a lot!

When the Steelers drafted James Washington the original thought was he would replace Martavis Bryant especially as a deep threat. That hasn’t come to pass just yet but I really like the way Washington has developed. We know of his strong hands and ability to make combat catches so maybe it’s no surprise that Ben Roethlisberger has developed a lot of trust in Washington on throws over the middle. I think that continues and in time, the shots downfield will come.

Tweet of the day two… This is great stuff.

After looking over the All-22 tape yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to see Matt Feiler had a pretty good game in place of Marcus Gilbert. I’m not going to suggest he’s headed for the Pro Bowl but he held his own in pass protection and did a solid job in run blocking. There were definitely times he was beaten but that happens to the best of them. Would I feel comfortable with Feiler for the long haul at right tackle? No, but as a spot starter he more than acquitted himself.

Mike Hilton’s arm was in a sling yesterday but he didn’t rule out practicing today. The Steelers have to be preparing for him not being able to play and that’s a huge blow to the secondary. Who plays in the slot? The Ravens will no doubt look to exploit this.

Have a great Thursday Steeler Nation!
