Good Thursday to you Steelers’ Fans!
We are now two weeks away from the Steelers reporting to Training Camp and just 59 days from the beginning of ‘actual football.’ ’59’ is of course the number of Steelers’ Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Ham. I had a chance to speak to Mr. Ham on the phone a year or two ago and he told some fantastic stories. The one about L.C. Greenwood being a substitute teacher has been told before but Ham just made it sound so darn good…
ESPN has announced they’ll once again be live from Latrobe Memorial Stadium during the Steelers’ annual ‘Friday Night Practice.’ If you haven’t been to this before, one of the highlights is seeing your favorite NFL players come off of a bus at a high school field. It’s pretty cool.
We’ll have plenty of coverage from Training Camp but we won’t be begging for donations to go there. We just don’t think that’s very appropriate.
I could go on all day about DeAngelo Williams’ twitter war with Dallas fans after he named the Cowboys as one of the teas he would NOT play for. DWill knows his Cowboys’ history that’s for sure!
Tweet of the Day… Former Steeler Sean Spence weighs in… I fell asleep to be honest.
Avatar one of my all time favorite movies

Steel City Blitz Podcast presented by 26shirts.com/Pittsburgh will air tonite at 10pm Eastern. Topics will include the countdown to Le’Veon Bell’s Franchise Tag deadline plus much more. It’s our 25th episode!
Richard Sherman is a smart guy. Unfortunately hes miscalculating things if he truly believes a strike is the way to get more guaranteed money like the NBA. The NFL Players’ Association is one of the weaker unions in pro sports and besides, there are many other factors he isn’t considering like the number of games, injury risk and so on.
I’m convinced these pre-fight press conferences between Floyd Mayweather and Conor MacGregor will be more entertaining then the actual fight.
On that note, have a great day Steeler Nation!

Your site make-over is pretty cool, but i really liked your interactive box. I am casting a ask to bring it back, i know it’s a pain in the ass for you guys but it was fun.
Thanks for the input Bob. Let me see if I can bring it back in a little different format. We do toss the idea around from time to time so it isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
