Congratulations to Steelers’ Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger who was inducted into the Mid-American Conference Hall of Fame this week. At Miami, Ohio Big Ben threw for over 10,000 yards and 84 touchdowns.
I’m fortunate enough to tell you I saw #7 play in Michigan Stadium against the Wolverines while he was in college. You could tell he was something special.

It’s been quite interesting to see the comments about the defense under Keith Butler. Some players say “it won’t change much” while others expect some significant change. I wonder how much of that boils down to relationships? Are some players more loyal to Dick LeBeau than others? That wouldn’t be abnormal.
Great stuff from Dejan Kovacevic on the Steelers cornerbacks.
Steelers Antwon Blake told Trib-Live he prefers playing on the outside but knows he “moves around a lot.
Since we are talking about cornerbacks I think it goes without saying that one of the biggest stories and mysteries of the upcoming season will be Cortez Allen. Can you imagine if he steps up and plays well? The Steelers secondary would go from weak to quite deep very quickly.
The are 104 days left until the Steelers play the Patriots in New England. The last time the two teams played the Steelers surrendered 55 points. Ugh.
Go Steelers!
