It’s the final Monday of July. OK, there’s my intro…

The mourning in Pittsburgh should be over now following the revelations on Friday of Le’Veon Bell’s pending four-game suspension. What has set in is reality. It’s been very easy to assume that Bell’s missed drug tests were the result of him using marijuana but don’t jump to that conclusion just yet.

Speaking of Bell, The Steelers Wire reports that Bell said on Instagram that will win his appeal and won’t miss any games. We shall see.

I stirred up quite a social media frenzy with my article on Saturday morning that asked “Does Mike Tomlin Bear Any Responsibility for Bryant or Bell?” The response on Twitter and Facebook was very overwhelming and and quite divisive. Check our Facebook page for more.

Oh and I learned a valuable lesson too. Most people don’t actually read the articles! Well, I knew this but it still pisses me off that people comment without actually reading. Oh well.

DeAngelo Williams already proved his wroth as a free agent signing last season but if turns around and does the same thing in Bell’s absence this time, then I think his signing will be on the same level as that of James Farrior.

Tweet of the Day… Dave’s photos never get old.

Dejan Kovacevic has an excellent piece on the Steelers this morning over at his site. It’s a pay site so you’ll need a subscription.

ESPN Steelers’ Beat Writer Jeremy Fowler offers a piece that discusses Bell’s suspension being a silver lining for the Steelers. It’s a fair point he makes about contract leverage but I honestly don’t know that the Steelers will want to bring him back anyway. Right now I’ 50/50.

Aldon Smith allegedly smoked a joint on Periscope this weekend. I don’t even have the words to describe this…

Lots of stuff coming this week from SCB so make sure you check in or just keep following us on social media!

Have a great week Steeler Nation!
