SCB 2018 NFL Predictions

by Ian

With the NFL season kicking off tomorrow night in Philadelphia, the crew of Steel City Blitz got together to give our predictions for the upcoming year. Three of our eight divisions had unanimous predictions for division champions and three other divisions only had one person dissent from the majority. In the end though, only two different teams were predicted as AFC Champions and four different teams predicted as NFC Champions. Feel free to leave your predictions in the comments!

NFL MVP Predictions

SteelDad: Drew Brees

The Saints gold pants are the closest thing to Harbaugh’s Khakis in the NFL.

Ben: Aaron Rodgers

A bounce-back season for the best QB in the league returning from injury.

Cnic and Matt:  Todd Gurley

Gurley rewards the Rams giving him a gigantic new contract with an MVP season.
Note that our LA guy picked Gurley.

Tay:  Ben Roethlisberger

With Todd Haley gone, Ben will have full control of the offense.

Will Ben Roethlisberger Play Well After Two Weeks Off

Ian: Antonio Brown

A bit of a homer pick here, but he arguably was the front-runner at the time he got injured against New England last year and could wind up with 120+ catches.
