Get Outta Dodge: Steelers-Colts Tweetcap

The Steelers exited their bye week by sleep-walking through the first half but were able to turn things around in the second half and came away from Indianapolis with a victory.

Things started poorly with a deep pass for Bryant that was underthrown and picked off.

Nothing much was happening in the first quarter.

The game broke open when Donte Moncrief toasted Artie Burns on a double-move and Mike Mitchell wasn’t even in the same zip code to help over the top.

The defense forgot how to tackle over the bye week.

The offense wasn’t much better.

The Steelers got a field goal before halftime but the Colts came out in the third quarter and hit another bomb with Mike Mitchell looking completely clueless as the deep safety.

The Steelers offense must have woken up at halftime, and guess who made a big play to get things going.

The Steelers defense possibly had a turnover on the next drive, but the play was ruled down by forward progress.

The defense made a play when Ryan Shazier made an unreal interception off a tipped ball.

The offense got the ball at the 10 yard line and looked fairly inept until Ben found a wide open Vance McDonald for a touchdown.

With the score 17-15, the Steelers had to go for 2 to try to tie the game, but spent a timeout then were called for a delay of game when they couldn’t figure out which play to run.

But Martavis converted and the game was tied.

The defense came up with a stop and got the ball back to the offense with 3 minutes to play.

Boswell banged it through as time expired.
